I have been listening to Beyonce's new CD for the past week and I absolutely love it! And I must say that Jay-Z must be puttin it on Bee somethin serious, the way she is belting out songs for this man! My favorites have gotta be "1+1", "Best Thing I Never Had", "Party", "Love on Top", "Rather Die Young", and  top pick "Dance for you". If you haven't heard her CD, at least take a listen..youtube is your friend!!

Throwback

I think everyday should be a throwback day! But, todays throwback is "If This World Were Mine" by Luther Vandross. You may remember this song from the school dance scene in the movie "The Wood." Anyways, I heard this song on the radio and I absolutely love this song! Luther really has some of the greatest hits, im so in love with #classicR&B. If you haven't heard this song, or even if you have, take a listen.

Marvin's Room is at capacity

It seems to me that Marvin's Room has reached full capacity. It's madness, there's like a new celebrity cover  done every week! For those who don't know, "Marvin's Room" was originally put out by Drake. Covers of the song have be done by Teyana Taylor, Romeo, JoJo, and less than 10 minutes ago Chris Brown. His version can be found here---> 

Maybe its the fact that people really find joy in saying "F*ck that nigga" or "Fuck that b*tch". Or maybe its a chance for people to brag about what they can do better than the next person...I dont know. I guess we all agree that the lyrics were fire when we heard em...kudos to Drake. Real musicians possess the ability to inspire.

(Proverbs 26:4) Do not answer anyone stupid according to his foolishness, that you yourself also may not become equal to him.

It is stated in the bible that one is best off not to argue with fools. If its one thing I've learned in the past years is to do just that. You should never make yourself vulnerable to another's criticisms. You should never feel the need to prove yourself to someone who is not your boss. You should never waste your breath! You should never have to explain yourself to someone whos mind is already made up. I truly believe in some things are better left unsaid. And everyone cannot handle the truth and other dont want to hear the truth. So next time somebody wants to argue with you or yell at you, kill them off with silence.
